Can I switch from a free zone to mainland later?
Usually this means setting up a new mainland company or branch rather than converting the existing one. Choosing well at the start saves time and cost.
Do I need to be in the UAE to set up a company?
Many free zone and offshore registrations can be done remotely. Mainland setup and residence visas usually need you in the UAE for some steps.
