Common questions
Can I get a residence visa with an offshore company?
No. Offshore companies can’t sponsor residence visas. If you need a visa, a free zone or mainland company is the better route.
Do I need to be in the UAE to register?
Usually not. Most offshore registrations can be completed with copies or attested documents, although some banks ask to meet you in person to open an account.
Can an offshore company own property in Dubai?
Companies from some offshore authorities can own property in designated freehold areas, subject to Dubai Land Department rules. We check this for your case before you register.
