    Final cancellation

Your licence is cancelled and the deregistration certificate issued.

Common questions

Can I just let my licence expire instead?

No. An expired licence keeps building fines, and owners can face visa or travel problems later. A formal liquidation closes everything properly.

What happens to my own residence visa?

If the company sponsors your visa, it has to be cancelled or moved before closure. We can help you move to a new sponsor or a different visa type.

Do I need to be in the UAE?

Some steps need your signature in person or through a power of attorney. We’ll tell you which ones at the start.
