Common questions
Which free zone should I choose?
It depends on your activity, budget, how many visas you need and whether you need a warehouse or a real office. Tell us what you do and we’ll send a short comparison.
Can a free zone company work with mainland clients?
Service companies can often invoice mainland clients, but selling goods into the mainland normally goes through a local distributor or a mainland branch. The rules differ between zones, so we check yours.
Do free zone companies pay corporate tax?
Free zone companies must register for corporate tax. Those that meet the conditions for a Qualifying Free Zone Person can pay 0% on qualifying income. A tax adviser should confirm whether you qualify.
